Cosmetic Dentistry Services
Many people are unhappy with their current smile because of missing, broken or crooked teeth. Dr. Stroud has a variety of ways to correct conditions that may be adversely affecting your health and your confidence in your smile. Dr. Stroud is ready to help you achieve that “Full Mouth Smile”. Whitening, veneers and crowns may help brighten your smile. Orthodontic tray retainers will straighten your teeth and implants can replace missing ones.
Porcelain Veneers
These custom-made, wafer-thin shells of tooth-colored material are designed to cover the surface of your teeth. They are bonded to the front of your teeth, thus changing their color, size, or length. Dr. Stroud will discuss the available options to help you create your new smile.
Tooth Whitening
Tooth whitening is a process that removes stains and lightens the enamel to give a whiter, brighter smile. We make custom trays from molds of your mouth that help to hold the solution on your teeth.
Invisalign & Viviera Retainers
Invisalign and other similar systems are a virtually invisible alternative to metal braces. A group of custom trays will be made for you, which you will wear for 20+ hours a day. Each set of trays is generally worn for two weeks and gradually shifts your teeth into the desired position.
Full-Mouth Restoration
Your teeth may be worn, cracked, chipped, or broken to that extent that your entire mouth needs to be evaluated for reconstruction. Dr. Stroud will map out a plan to correct these issues with crowns, bridges, implants, and/or orthodontics to make your mouth functional and aesthetically pleasing again.
Tooth Recontouring
Minor chipping and breakage of teeth can sometimes be corrected by enamel contouring. This not only helps to make them look better, but also function properly.
Composite Bonding
This procedure is similar to a veneer, in that it is placed on the surface of the tooth to correct shape, color, and or length. Composite veneers are slightly thicker than porcelain or resin veneers, and tend to stain more frequently, but can be applied in a single visit to our office.
